The super Typhoon Number 2

This is another presentation that me, Tanisslous, Charlie-Ray and Leigh-amber made.

Super Typhoon

This is a presentation me and my friend Tanisslous made we hope you enjoy.

After The Storm

The kids walk alone on the streets, everybody is crying and making shelters. It looks like a dump. People are protecting themselves from the rain with worn out umbrellas. The civilians beg for food, kids a robbing stuff.  The houses are all crushed like mashed potatoes and there is junk all over the fields. Babies are crying, kids are screaming as the rain splashes into their faces. No grass is in sight only one dead bush. People are waiting for food. Some look dehydrated. Animals are limping. Dead bodies are laid out on the floor. The water turns into mud. Most of the place is all grey, black and brown. People roam the streets in no shoes to cover their foots People are digging in the garbage to see what they could find. Properties are smashed and nothing was left.

I can feel the wind stroking my legs. The rain is splashing on me making my clothes wet. I see families begging for goods. My eyes spot people drinking dirty water. My nose smells the mud that is getting bigger. I can’t even breathe properly. I can touch the umbrella handle. My hand is getting tired of holding it. I feel sad and lonely. Its so boring. I taste the rain splashing into my mouth. Thats the only thing I can drink for now. I hear screams In the distance. Babies are sulking and crying. My mind tells me I can’t handle this. I feel so frustrated and mad inside because everything I had once is now all gone. Trash is dumped all over the place. People are staring at their feet as they walk. Kids are still playing but not smiling.

The Water Fall

Start here:
Greetings my name is Jordan and I am a photographer and I travel the world. I am 22, I have short hair black eyes and I am skinny. I come from New Zealand and now live in the UK. Today I am going to America to take photos. I am just packing up my stuff. My boss wants me to take some photos of the wild life in America. I have been living in the UK for 3 years. My friends Chris and Tom live with me in a Three bedroom apartment and they work at the mall. As I leave I say bye and then catch my flight to America.

On my way to America and I am starting to get nervous. My luggage and equipment is in suitcase. “6 more hours and we will land in New York.” the captain says so I close my eyes and fall asleep. 10 hours later and I’m in a cab to get to the New York water fall. when I turn around I see a light and then BOOM! we have been blown up. When I turn around I see a tank so I jump out and run away. The tank is trying to shoot me but I don’t give up so I hide in a alley and then I see a campsite. My mind tells me to run but it is no help I can’t run from a tank it will blow me up. I climb the fence and her a noise. “Its a waterfall.” I whisper I got to get closer to the sound. When I get there I hide in the trees. Its beautiful I say Take the shot and then tiptoe away. I halfway to the city. Why was the tank shooting at me? I question while I run I hear the tank trying to catch up with me as run a bullet goes right into the concrete next to me. I think I’m dreaming but i’m not. I just keep running and I don’t stop.

I make to the airport grab some money out of my pocket and give it to the lady “OH NO!” I say. I forgot about my suitcase. I don’t care I get on my flight and go back home. 2 days later. I’m back home I made it home the first thing I feel like doing is going to bed and have a good sleep. I just can’t believe I’m alive.

The Crash

The Crash
I’m Joe a 10 year old boy and I live in Auckland New Zealand.
I live with my mum and dad in a house on a farm.
We are going to move to Wellington tonight so we’re going to take an airplane there.
My mum has been talking about this for weeks and my dad finally agreed with her.
I’m going to miss all my friends as soon as we leave.
This is going to be my first flight and I am nervous because It turns out that I am scared of hights.
I just can’t wait to get in an actual airplane.

We sitting in the plane half way to Wellington when the captain of the plane announces that there is a storm up ahead.
“Mom are we nearly there yet?” I ask her.
“No!” she replies the third and final time.
When I look out the window I see lightning and then all of a sudden...
BANG!
lightning hits the plane. we all scream.
One of the wings has got smoke coming out of the propellers.
The lady in the plane tells us to put on a breathing bag as the plane dives down.
My heart beats as fast as a drum.
The old people are fainting and all the kids are screaming.
We all pray to god.
The captain is yelling that were losing altitude.
My dad is sleeping “I wonder what that old bag is dreaming about?” I whisper and then my mum yells at him to wake up.

Now when I look at the window I see that we’re going to land in a beach.
“Hold on!” the lady yells out.
“Ya think.” I say
CRASH!
I scream but then open my eyes everyone looks ok only one person got injured on his leg but other then that everyone was alright.
When we walked out of the plane the good news was that the captain actually landed the plane ain Wellington too.
My heart started to beep back to normal again.
People were relieved.
I just can’t believe that my first trip in a plane became a nightmare.
This was the worst day of my life.

Start here:
Good day, my name is Chris I am 16 years old and I have a brother called Jack who is 18. Our town Huntly have almost run out of food so there's this game called Hunger Games which is about surviving and being the last person standing. Me and my brother are competing to win the grand prise a million dollars and a free trip to Hawaii. Jack has been training and wanted me to enter with him. Over 100 people will be competing and I can’t wait to start.

The clock is ticking “3!” my heart beats over and over, “2!” getting ready to start, “1 GOOOOOO!” Me and sam run in the forest we hide in the bushes. Arrows are all over the place, people are fighting. Jack tells me to wait until it goes silent. A couple minutes later the sound stops. I am getting concerned. Jack And I run to a tree and take cover. “Where is everyone?” I whisper. Its like their doing the same thing we are. My mind starts to worry but then goes back to me and Jack. My body starts to shiver. 3 hours later and turns into night which isn’t a good thing. “We’ll camp for the night over here.” Jack whispers. An arrow flies right where we were standing were getting ambushed. A group of boys that look like their in their teens are all around us. We know there's too many to fight. My brother sarts telling them were freindly but they speak a different laguage people are yelling at us. Cowards I say in my mind. Why won’t you verse us hand to hand Jack says the throw their bows away and get into a fighting position. BANG, BOOM, POW punches are flying all over the place the group of boys are now lying on the ground crying. We tell them to get lost and they start running away. Jack tells me to pick up an bow. We put the arrows on our back in this bag. we start running on again. 24 hours later and we have been hiding in a tree. We find someone inside a tower and it looks like a man I aim my arrow at him and hold my breath. I let go of the string and the arrow flies all the way to the man it goes straight at his stomach he starts to faint blood is all over the place but I had to do it or he could of spot me. Jack just turns away and focuses on his side I am shocked of what I just saw but right now I got to focus on me.

74 hours later and we make it to the last 2 groups one group comes out of a bush and a starts looking at us with a disgusting taste in their mouths they’re obviously not nice. we start to have the last duel. We shoot arrows at them until we run out. Jacks been hit in the leg with one. I start punching the boys until they run away Jacks leg is bleeding but he isn’t dead “WE WON!” I yell after all that hard work we won. Jack smiles as he pulls out the arrow. I get a bandage and give to him, he wraps it around his leg and then puts one arm around me I pick him up as he limps. We walk to the start line and smile. This was totaly worth it.

Tsunami Narrative

8.30 a.m in the morning, we driving off to school. We live in a city called “Auckland”. It was in the north Island of New Zealand. As we got half way to school I saw some of my friends walking to school and some on the school bus. The Neighborhood we lived in was very quiet and peaceful. People were polite and nice to each other.

“Mum are we there yet?” I ask but my mum doesn’t reply she is too busy looking at her side mirror I ask her again but she she still doesn’t reply. As soon as I turn around I realise what she was looking at, “TSUNAMI!” I scream while holding onto my mums seat. She quickly steps on the peddle and pushes the speed up to, 80 miles per hour. but I have read a book that said tsunami’s can travel up 200 miles per hour so I yell at her to go faster but we can’t so she takes me outside and takes me into the school. The people on the bus are to slow the tsunami carries it and pushes it into a building. Poor kids, they were innocent and did no harm but right now I got to focus on myself Its been 20 minutes and we are still trapped in the school. The kids and the teachers around me have got cuts and blood dripping from them. We all are scared. I have never been in a natural disaster my whole life. I think this could be a dream it feels like I pinch myself “AWW!” I yell I smack myself but nothing happens “I’m just making myself look like a fool.” I tell myself.

10 minutes later and the tsunami is all finnish we wait for a couple more minutes to see if their might be an aftershock but their isn’t, we go outside and the whole street is crushed, our house and the neighborhood my body shakes and my teeth chatter the ground is all wet. This whole thing seems like a nightmare coming to reality. “This isn’t real.” I  say. I hope that I will wake up in a couple of seconds but nothing happends. “I ask my mum what do we do now?” No reply and think I know what she means. I go on my knees and pray to god to help and make everything better. My mind is blank I got nothing to think about only the things right in front of my eyes. I have no more words left...
