Superhero Vs Real Life Hero

This is an old I did by myself that defines the defences between a hero and a villain. While I was doing this activity I was practising my identifying skills.

Tanisslous ft Cypress Malama Honua Whakatau

A couple of days ago our school went to Point England beach to greet the Malama Honua touring ship that is travelling around the world. While we were greeting these lovely people from Hawaii our school was practising our singing and our chanting skills to make the songs sound good. It is obvious that not only our school went over to the beach but the whole cluster of schools around us as well, so we had to be loud to stand out in the crowd.

Step It Up

What goals will I use to step up to be a good Kia Manawanui student. This brick shows what I want to be and do to be a successful person. During this activity I have been practising my goal setting skills.

Aroha's Typical Day

Aroha’s typical day

I usually get up at 6 o’clock and have a shower. Then, I go for an early morning jog in the park. After that, I have a big breakfast and I drive my car to work which usually takes me half an hour. I start work at 8am. I eat cheese and crackers at interval. I never have lunch. I finish work at 4 o’clock. I’m always tired when I get home. I usually cook a meal in the evening and then watch TV. I don’t usually go out at night. I go to bed at about 10:30. I always sleep well.

Yesterday was a typical day for Jenny. Write what she did or didn’t do yesterday.

Aroha's typical day, I had to fill in the blanks on what happens in a typical day of Aroha's Life. By doing this activity I have been practising how to put past tense words into a summarised sentence from the text.

Art - Kia Manawanui

Well this is embarrassing not the art, I actually forgot to post this about 1 month ago and here I am posting it now. Sorry for the lateness I guess. I miles of well tell you about this. This peice of work shows what symbols show Kia Manawanui (Big Hearted.) Oh and by the way for those of you who don't know Kia Manawanui is our Syndicate name. By doing this activity I learnt how to put signs and symbols together to show meanings.

ANZAC DAY!!!

I am writing to you this post to just let you know that ANZAC day is coming up on the 25th of April (Saturday.) This year represents the 100 year anniversary when the ANZACS went to Gallipoli. Oh yeah I almost forgot to tell the people that don't know what ANZAC stands for stands for. It stands for Australia, New Zealand, Army, Corps. You can go on this site (LINK) to see some of the soldiers that thought in the war and you can put online poppies on them to show your respects. If you want to see your an sisters that were in the war then this site could have them on it.
