Tamaki Primary Corrugated Art

This drawing is about symbols that show you the key features of our class. These were the symbols I chose to describe my class. I hope you like this little piece of work I have finished.

The Forbidden Forest

Finally,
The end product of my myth. Its all done. Before you watch this yes there were heaps of mistakes in the process but I managed to get this done some how. Feast your eyes upon my story, The Forbidden Forest.

My Myth Art

Above this writing is my art about my myth. My myth is about the one and only Taniwha and to describe him I drew a picture of him. This didn't take me that long to do but it was sometimes anoying to draw.

How The Tiger Got His Stripes

This was a late post I forgot to publish on my blog from about 2 weeks ago. What our class did was going into our buddy class for a day and doing some work with each of our buddies. My buddies name was Taynah and I also had a year 8 buddy as well due to the year one class having only a little bit of students. Here is a presentation of a reflection of a story (Link) we watched on YouTube.
Enjoy

Yaaayy!
I know that this post is a little bit late but I thought that I would just congratulate the Golden State Warriors on winning the finals in the NBA. I first heard this news about a week ago and yeah it was very exciting to hear. Also I would like to say that the Cavs played well in the finals with the Warriors. They made it tough for the Warriors to win but the Warriors got the job done and did it. This is there 1st win in over 40 years. They done their fans well. And just before I leave I would like to congratulate Andre Iguodala on wining the MVP award.

Similies and Metaphors Basic Lessons For Writing

WALT use figurative language in a sentence to a mythical character.

Simile

Definition:
A simile compares an object to another using like or as.

Examples:
  • Taniwha was as dark as a mysterious shadow.
  • He was strong like a mighty god.

Metaphor

Definition:
A metaphor compares one object without using like or as.

Examples:

  • Kahi was a gigantic giraffe.
  • Te awai was tiny little ant.

Today we were going back to the basics and were just defining similies and metaphors so that we will understand them. Obviously we all knew what they were and to use them already but this task was just about us showing our knowledge towards them.
