What is Adolescence?

I created this Drawing for a homework task Ms Aireen assigned us to do in our own spare time. The drawing above this description just tells you what adolescence is and what happens when you go through it.

My Value Goal

This year I am aiming to be a responsible student and get my work done at the standard expected. The reason why I chose this value was because I needed to blog more work on my blog so I can reach the 15 blog posts a month standard. Also another reason why I chose this value is so I can keep on task with my learning at the times I am supposed to. When I show this value it is when I am managing myself with my learning and my learning only at the right time. Responsibility is another way of saying.

I am know back at school so you will be seeing more of me blogging. I will be blogging learning tasks and weekly updates on what's going on during my learning time and the week. So stay tuned.

Sarcasm

Oh sarcasm. The topic that everyone should be aware of. I know what you might be thinking, Cypress why are you writing a blog post about sarcasm? Or, Cypress what does this word "SARCASM" mean? Well sarcasm is a sentence that doesn't mean what actually is said or in other words the opposite of what is said, the tone of your voice tells you it is. For example (While you read this example change your voice into a tone that sounds lying-ish) "Your mum looks cool." What you are actually saying is "Your mum looks not cool." I know, that example was not really intelligent but I tried to not make a offensive sentence. Other than that now you know that sarcasm can be a bad thing. Sarcasm is a good thing and a bad thing. It is bad because you can probably go overboard with it, and it is good because it can make people laugh and you can use it in good ways. Just remember that you shouldn't mock people because I bet you wouldn't if they did it to you. I'm trying to keep this post short so I am just going to say bye and not see you later (nailed it.)

It Is Nearly The End Of The Holiday

As you shall know there are 5 more days until the end of the holidays. I can't wait to get back to school but at the same time I want to stay home as well. When I say I want to go back to school its because I want to see my friends (bro's/mates/hoa which means friends in maori.) Also when I mean I want to stay home it just means that I want to not to do learning work/stuff. Any ways before the end of the holidays I should start to make the most of it, so bye and I will see you later. Wait I can't actually see you dam, I failed with the ending.

Video Games

During the holidays I have been playing video games a lot. Mostly survival and sports games. You might be thinking why would I be publishing a post about video games. Well one reason, Education. Yeah I said it education. How does the video games that you play educate you. Through the pas week I have been learning new skills and techniques from the video games that I play. For example if you were playing a sports game it teach's you new strategies and skills on how to offend, defend and score. Or if you were playing a war game it shows you lots of ways to kill your enemy without getting hurt and to also how to aim a gun. All video games have lessons but in the lessons you got to do one thing to know what you have to do, that one thing is just one word.

That's right the word is read. In every video game you got to read to know what to actually do and reading is not just in video games, it is everywhere. On the streets are signs you have to read while your in a car, while watching TV the guide has words that you have to read to know what your watching and don't forget in school and so on. You also have been reading this text that is telling you about reading and video games. From reading this post you were reading but now it comes to an end. End Of The Term Reflection

Yay!
It is the end of term 1 today in Tamaki Primary School. I am so happy that I can chill out now and not panic about work. Well actually I kind of have to because I have to still blog during the holidays. I guess that this is fare though. I will be keeping you updated when I can in the holidays. I can't wait to see what the holidays hold. Hope they aren't going to be boring like the last one. Other than that I wish that you guys have a great holiday too.
